debsigs software package provides toolset for applying cryptographic signatures to Debian packages, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install debsigs
debsigs is installed in your system.
Make ensure the debsigs package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep debsigs *
You will get with debsigs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
